Epic Duels Deck Descriptions

 

What follows is a text breakdown of each deck, including a word for word transcription of the text on all Special and Power Combat cards. The basic cards are described using the standard color descriptions (for definitions of the colors see the Glossary). Each deck is presented in alphabetical order by the first name of each major character and cards within each deck are listed alphabetically by card name within each type. This page is intended to be used as a reference.

 

Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala

Main Character: Anakin Skywalker

-HP: 18, Red Basic Set

Minor Character: Padme Amidala

-HP: 10, Strong Basic Set

 

Power Combats:

-Anger: A8, After attacking, discard every card in your hand, except one card. x2 (Anakin)

-Counterattack: D{STAR}, Anakin receives no damage from the attack. Instead the attacker receives 1 damage. x2 (Anakin)

-Precise Shot: A9, After attacking you may discard a card to draw a card. x1 (Padme)

-Shot on the Run: A6, After attacking, you may move Padme up to 6 spaces. x1 (Padme)

 

Specials:

-Calm: Move Anakin up to 8 spaces. If, after playing this card, you have no cards in your hand, draw up to 5 cards. x2 (Anakin)

-Protection: If Anakin is still alive, Padme recovers 4 damage. If Anakin has been destroyed, Padme recovers 2 damage. x1 (Padme)

-Wrath: You may move Anakin adjacent to any minor character. That character receives 7 damage. x3 (Anakin)

 

Boba Fett and Greedo

Main Character: Boba Fett

-HP: 14, Yellow

Minor Character: Greedo

 

Power Combats:

-Deadly Aim: A7, Draw 2 cards. x1 (Boba)

-Desperate Shot: A7*, *If you do not destroy the defending character with this card, destroy Greedo. x1 (Greedo)

-Kyber Dart: A9*, *After attacking, if you destroy the defending character, draw 3 cards. x1 (Boba)

-Rocket Retreat: A4, After attacking, you may move Boba Fett to any empty space. x3 (Boba)

 

Specials:

-Sudden Arrival: Move Greedo adjacent to any character. Playing this card does not count as an action. x2 (Greedo)

-Thermal Detonator: Thermal Detonator does 4 damage to any one character Boba Fett can attack. All characters adjacent to that character also receive 4 damage. x2 (Boba)

-Wrist Cable: CABLE SHOT does 2 damage to any one character Boba Fett can attack. The player controlling the attacked character gets 1 less action on his/her next turn. x2 (Boba)

 

Count Dooku and Super Battledroids

Main Character: Count Dooku

-HP: 18, Blue

Minor Character: Super Battle Droids x2

-HP: 5, Strong+ (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-Taunting: A7, Draw a card. x4

 

Specials:

-Force Drain: Pick 2 cards at random from an opponent’s hand. That player must discard those cards. x1

-Force Push: Move any character adjacent to Dooku to any empty space. That character receives 1 daamge. x2

-Gain Power: Draw 3 cards x2

-Give Orders: Move Dooku up to 4 spaces. Then move Super Battledroid 1 up to 4 spaces and move Super Battledroid 2 up to 4 spaces. x3

 

Darth Maul and Battledroids

Main Character: Darth Maul

-HP: 18, Blue

Minor Character: Battledroids x2

-HP: 3, Weak (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-Athletic Surge: A8, After attacking, you may move Darth Maul up to 6 spaces. x3

-Blinding Surge: D0*, *After taking the attacker’s damage, Darth Maul does 3 points of damage to the attacking character. x2

-Martial Defense: D10, Draw a card. x1

-Sith Speed: A3, Playing this card does not count as an action. x3

-Super Sith Speed: A4, Playing this card does not count as an action. x3

 

Darth Vader and Stormtroopers

Main Character: Darth Vader

-HP: 20, Red

Minor Character: Stormtroopers x2

-HP: 4, Weak (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-All Too Easy: A3*, *If this card is not blocked, the attacked character receives 20 damage instead of 3. x1

-Dark Side Drain: A3, If Vader does damage to a character with this card, Vader recovers the amount of damage done to the character. x2

 

Specials:

-Choke: Choose any minor character. That character receives 6 damage. x3

-Throw Debris: Choose any character. That character receives 4 damage. x2

-Wrath: Choose an opponent. All of that opponent’s characters receive 2 damage. x3

-Your Skills Are Not Complete: Choose any opponent. That opponent must reveal his/her hand and discard all Special cards. x1

 

Emperor Palpatine and Royal Guard

Main Character: Emperor Palpatine

-HP: 13, Green

Minor Character: Royal Guard x2

-HP: 5, Strong++ (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Specials:

-Force Lightning: Choose any character. That character receives 3 damage. The player controlling this character must discard a card at random. x4

-Future Foreseen: Look at the top 4 cards of your draw pile. Put one in your hand and put the other 3 cards back on top of your draw pile in any order. x2

-Let Go of Your Hatred: Choose an opponent. That opponent chooses and discards 2 cards. x2

-Meditation: The Emperor recovers up to 4 damage. Choose an opponent. That opponent cannot draw cards during his/her next turn. x2

-Royal Command: Exchange spaces between the Emperor and any Crimson Guard. x1

-You Will Die: Choose an opponent. That opponent must discard his/her entire hand. x1

 

Han Solo and Chewbacca

Main Character: Han Solo

-HP: 13, Yellow+

Minor Character: Chewbacca

-HP: 15, Strong+

 

Power Combats:

-Bowcaster Attack: A11, Draw a card. x1 (Chewbacca)

-Gambler’s Luck: A4*, *If Han does damage with this card, choose an opponent to discard a card at random. x3 (Han)

-Heroic Retreat: A5, After attacking, you may move Han up to 5 spaces. x2 (Han)

 

Specials:

-It’s Not Wise: Move any character adjacent to Chewbacca up to 3 spaces. That character receives 3 damage. x2 (Chewbacca)

-Never tell me the odds: Han does 2 damage to all opponents’ characters Han can attack. Then you may shuffle your discard pile into your draw pile. x2 (Han)

-Wookiee Healing: Chewbacca recovers up to 3 damage. Then you may move Chewbacca up to 5 spaces. x1 (Chewbacca)

-Wookiee Instincts: Search your draw pile for the Bowcaster Attack card. If it’s in your draw pile, put it in your hand. Then shuffle your draw pile. x1

 

Jango Fett and Zam Wesell

Main Character: Jango Fett

-HP: 15, Yellow

Minor Character: Zam Wesell

-HP: 10, Strong

 

Power Combats:

-Assassination: A7, After attacking, you may move Zam to any empty space. x1 (Zam)

-Missile Launch: A7, Draw 3 cards. If Jango is playing on the Kaminoan Platform, draw 4 cards instead of 3. x1 (Jango)

-Rocket Retreat: A4, After attacking, you may move Jango Fett to any empty space. x3 (Jango)

-Sniper Shot: A3*, *If this card is not blocked, Zam does 6 damage instead of 3. x3 (Zam)

 

Specials:

-Fire Up The Jet Pack: You may move Jango Fett to any empty space. Playing this card does not count as an action. x1 (Jango)

-Flamethrower: Flame Thrower does 2 damage to all characters adjacent to Jango Fett. You may then move these characters up to 3 spaces each. x1

-Wrist Cable: CABLE SHOT does 2 damage to any one character Jango Fett can attack. The player controlling the attacked character gets 1 less action on his/her next turn. x2

 

Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia

Main Character: Luke Skywalker

-HP: 17, Red

Minor Character: Princess Leia

-HP: 10, Strong

 

Power Combats:

-Justice: A4*, *If Leia has been destroyed, the attack value of this card is 10. x2 (Luke)

-Latent Force Abilities: A7/D7, Draw a card. x2 (Leia)

 

Specials:

-Children of the Force: Move Luke up to 6 spaces. Then move Leia up to 6 spaces. Draw 2 cards. x3 (Luke)

-I Will Not Fight You: Choose an opponent. You and the chosen opponent reveal your hands. Both of you discard all cards with an attack value greater than 1. x3 (Luke)

-Luke’s In Trouble: If Leia is adjacent to Luke, Luke recovers 3 damage. If Luke has been destroyed, Leia recovers 3 damage. x2 (Leia)

 

Mace Windu and Clonetroopers

Main Character: Mace Windu

-HP: 19, Blue

Minor Character: Clonetroopers x2

-HP: 4, Weak (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-Battlemind: A*/D*, *The attack and defense values of this card are equal to the number of cards in your hand after this card is played. x4

-Masterful Fighting: A5, Draw a card. x2

 

Specials:

-Whirlwind Attack: Mace does 4 damage to all opponents’ characters he can attack. x2

-Wisdom: You may move Mace up to 5 spaces, then draw a card. x4

 

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clonetroopers

Main Character: Obi-Wan Kenobi

-HP: 18, Blue

Minor Character: Clonetroopers x2

-HP: 4, Weak (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-Force Control: A7, After attacking, you may move all characters in play up to 3 spaces each. x2

-Jedi Attack: A6, After attacking, you may move Obi-Wan up to 6 spaces. x3

-Jedi Block: D12, Draw a card. x3

 

Specials:

-Force Balance: All players discard their hands. Each player draws 3 new cards. x1

-Force Quickness: Move Obi-Wan up to 6 spaces, then draw a card. x2

-Jedi Mind Trick: Take any card from your discard pile and put that card in your hand. x1

 

Yoda and Clonetroopers

Main Character: Yoda

-HP: 15, Green

Minor Character: Clonetroopers x2

-HP: 4, Weak (no Power Combats or Specials)

 

Power Combats:

-Force Rebound: D{STAR}, *Yoda receives no damage from the attack. Instead, the attacker receives damage equal to the attack number on the attacker’s card. x1

-Force Strike: A6, Draw a card. x2

-Serenity: D15, Draw a card. x2

 

Specials:

-Force Lift: Turn any character adjacent to Yoda on its side. This character cannot move, attack, or defend. At any time, any player may discard 3 cards to stand this character back up. x3

-Force Push: Move any character adjacent to Yoda to any empty space. That character receives 3 damage. x2

-Insight: Look at any opponent’s hand. Then choose one card. Your opponent must discard the chosen card. x2
