Re: the Haggarty & Oyung deck for General Grevious with Magnaguards
A question regarding the "Anihilator Blaster" card. The card instructions say: "Play this card face up. You may play any basic combat card (face-down) against a target at long range, as if Grevious had a blaster. Draw a card."
That is, to play this card, you must play another card. Does that mean playing this card really counts as TWO actions instead of one? Does playing "basic combat card (face down)" to make this card have any effect whatsoever count as the second action of one's turn?

Scott here, no, playing this card is only 1 action. You play the Annihilator card, and then resolve it normally (which consists of playing any basic card at range and then drawing a card). Thanks for the question!

Hi, thanks for the answer! That's what I thought (I was playing Grevious), but the player I was attacking pointed out that because the Anihilator card doesn't say "Playing this card doesn't count as an action." I will fix this by disambiguating the card with a nice, fine-tipped felt pen. :)

Thoughts on Roman's deck: If Luminara and Bariss are 1A for expansion decks you should try, sliding right in at 1B is this 4 armed grievous. Our group loves the 4 arm dynamic. The deck plays right in the middle of the pack.
If you are looking for a deck to print out and play, you've found it!.

Thoughts on Sabrecreator's deck: This deck is too strong. I haven't played it enough to be sure (since after a few games we gave up on it), but I think this deck is stronger than Obi. Personally I don't want my decks close to Obi powerful, or down by Jango for that matter.

Mine is on the strong side, but a strong Grievous is fun. Credit where it's due, it takes, in my opinion, the best elements from Scott's and Rob's deck and from Rich's deck.
Cyborg Grievous and Magnaguards by Scott Hagarty and Rob Oyung: This deck is truly outstanding in that it captures Grievous as both a shooter and a melee character very well. The 'Annihilator Blaster' concept is great card design.
About Sabercreator's General Greivous and 2 Super Battle Droids deck: this one was the first Grievous deck I printed; I found it quite well balanced, maybe a bit on the strong side.
Note about my personal tweaks on customs: no tweaks.
About Roman's Grievous, Jedi Hunter and 2 Magnaguards deck: this is the Grievous deck I like the most, probably for its original concept: the changing number of arms comboing with its power combat cards are a great idea and full of flavour. However the deck resulted a bit too strong for my metagame (at least in his original form), so I tweaked it down a bit.
Note about my personal tweaks on customs: Grievous has 15 HP; 'Unorthodox Attack' is A4; Battledroids replace Magnaguards (with relative minor deck swap).
About Hags888/Rob Oyung's Cyborg Grievous and Magnaguards deck: initially I was not convinced by this deck because of the too many similarities to the Dooku's deck cards, but then I played the deck and I found it playing very differently from the Dooku's deck. The 'Annihilator Blaster' card is a very well designed - and very flavouristic - card, I agree. However in the end I found it a bit on the weak side, so I powered up it a little.
Note about my personal tweaks on customs: 'Cowardly Defense' is D3 (in this way it becomes an useful card also if the Magnaguards has been destroyed); 'General's Orders' has 'Draw a card'.
