Start Over There
This rule replaces the way the game is set up. When using Start Over There, each side rolls the die, and the high roll chooses which side of the map to place their characters on: left or right. Major characters must start on a square in the far column on the side they choose, with their minor characters in any adjacent square.
The game then proceeds normally, with each side rolling to determine who goes first.
A game using Start Over There
Start Over There prevents the 2nd (or later) players from succumbing to immediate attacks, and gives shooters some added protection. This is the official setup procedure for the EDOL.
