Once a key member of the Onderon rebellion against the Separatists, where he was trained in guerrilla tactics by Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex, Saw Gerrera would later gain notoriety for his extreme tactics and paranoia as the leader of a Rebel Alliance cell, such that his own allies were wary of him. He mentored Jyn Erso for years after she lost her parents to the Empire, and would later reunite with her one last time on the planet Jedha. For more on Saw, go here.
