Being unfamiliar with the characters, I can’t say if some of the character loyalty has been lost or not. But from a purely functional standpoint, it’s definitely an improvement. Battle Meld is a solid card on its own, and the added draw effect works nicely. I see you tweaked Mind Invasion to your interpretation as well. It definitely works now, though it would be nice to be able to shove cards into your opponent’s hand that have a negative effect the longer they’re kept in the hand, but are powerful on use. That would maximize the effectiveness of the mechanic. Maybe I’ll try to utilize that for my own ED universe.
