Delta Squad

 

This deck represents the all famous Delta Squad from the Video/PC game Republic Commando. All the credit goes to the guys at the ED Forum as I got everything from there but couldn't find a finished .pdf anywhere. That's the reason I created my own deck with all the information at hand.

Updated the deck. Somehow itk wasn't working all that well. After lots of play testing I am confident this version is much more fun.
I chaged the Health Points just a little bit so BOSS now has more staying power but still is at the low end of main characters as his minors still posses a combined healt of 18.
I finally changed the decks basic combat cards to something that's more in line with convention, so ALL members of the squad got a little stronger and now at least have some kind of defense. Still nothing to crazy as I don't want to overpower them.
Next change was to give BOSS the ability to use the special cards of his fallen Delta Squad members as it always was very frustrating to have them killed early and never have any chance to use their cards what would make some of the special cards just useless. As BOSS also had very few HP in the first version of the deck and defense was almost not available somebody had to take the bullets.
Last change were some minor brightness and contrast changes.
Hope somebody gives this deck a chance as I like it very much the way it is right now. Enjoy.

I noticed that the blaster symbol next to BOSS's life points is missing otherwise super cool design, the pictures look awesome.

This looks fun! Great graphics. A few suggestions:

- I would change CONCENTRATED FIRE to an attack card that maybe any of them can use, and does more damage for each additional member that can attack, and I'd consider going with 2-3 of those as the main thing the deck does. Like an A4 + 2 for each other guy that can attack, it would rarely be more than an A6 or once in a while A8, but the threat of the A10 is there (if it's just an A3 that means that's sometimes all it will be, e.g. a weak card).

- I also think he could use a second CLONE COMMAND but I don't know where you'd find the card slot for it.

- But I would definitely drop one or even two THERMAL DETONATORs, especially since Scorch has an extremely similar card, though I see the combo with FLASH GRENADE. If possible, I'd swap the names so that Scorch has the 4-damage THERMAL DETONATOR, no grenade launcher should outperform the TD anyways. You could even drop an ACCURACY UNDER PRESSURE, since Boss can use the other cards, but it's a cool card and I can see how you'd rather not. Anyways, it looks fun, just some suggestions.

Somehow missed the comments to my deck, but finally came across it. 1st of all thanks for the praise :)
I absoulutely love your recommandations regarding CONCENTRATED FIRE and CLONE COMMAND they make total sense....actually love all of your suggestions and am pissed I didn't recognize your comments before because beleive it or not I just printed and finished my new version of the deck. I probably will make the suggested changes just not sure I will print it a 3rd time for myself :(

Like I said, all your changes make all the sense in the world and will improve the deck. I will upload a new version when I had time to change it and also will fix the HC.

Actually already made the changes (except for the HC, but this will follow). Love the way the deck looks now. Thanks again for your input Roman!
